Kittery is the southern-most town in Maine, about halfway between Boston and Portland. Kittery is just across the Piscataqua River from Portsmouth, New Hampshire.

Find us via I-95 (Maine Turnpike) or US Route 1 (State Road or Kittery Mall Road).

The Museum is beside US Route 1, just north of the Kittery Traffic Circle. To find the circle from a distance, look for the tall flagpole.

Then, from the traffic circle, the museum can be seen at 204 Rogers Road. It's right beside the Town Hall at 200 Rogers Road.

And yes, the outlet malls are just up the road a piece.

Visiting the Museum

From NH or Maine — via I-95:

From I-95, take Exit 2.
    Off the ramp, continue onto Route 236 South.
Go around the Kittery traffic circle...
    Exit to Route 1 North (Kittery Mall Rd).
The Museum is on your right.
 

From Portsmouth — via Route 1 Bypass:

Cross the river on the Sarah Long Bridge.
From the Bypass, exit right to Route 236 South.
Go around the Kittery traffic circle...
    Exit to Route 1 North (Kittery Mall Rd).
The Museum is on your right.
 

From Portsmouth — via Route 1:

Cross the river on the Memorial Bridge.
Follow US Route 1 North (State Road).
Go around the Kittery traffic circle...
    Exit to Route 1 North (Kittery Mall Rd).
The Museum is on your right.
 

... and then to the Outlet Malls

From the Museum — via Route 1:

At the corner next to the Museum, turn right.
Follow Route 1 North (Kittery Mall Rd).
    At the fork, bear right. (Don't get on I-95.)
Go straight to the outlets.
