At the Museum, we have books, souvenirs, gifts, and other items for sale about Kittery and the local area. Our Gift Shop may be small, but we try to stock it with intriguing items.

We have a good selection of books, both fiction and nonfiction.

They are about memorable events, noteworthy people, and special places... mostly history, of course, with just a few tall tales.

Years ago, Rosamond Thaxter wrote a biography – Sandpiper – about her famous grandmother, Celia Thaxter, whose cottage at the Isles of Shoals was well-known. We try to keep the book in stock.

Rosamond's memoir of her own life in Kittery Point – Aunt Rozzie Remembers – is also available in reprint from our Gift Shop.
